ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION

The Organizing Committee warmly welcomes abstract submissions for the 2024 IPPF Meeting.
Please read the submission guidelines before submitting an abstract.

Guidelines

  • Abstracts must be submitted online via the website only.
  • Abstracts submission deadline: May 31st, 2024
  • Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered
  • Presentation Type: Abstracts may be submitted for oral or e-poster presentation.
  • Topics: pathogenesis, epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment of
    • all diseases in the spectrum of autoimmune bullous diseases (English only)
    • psoriasis (Εnglish or Greek)
    • alopecia areata (Εnglish or Greek)
    • atopic dermatitis (Εnglish or Greek)
    • vitiligo (Εnglish or Greek)
    • hidradenitis suppurativa (Εnglish or Greek)
    • epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) (English or Greek)
  • Abstracts which will be selected for oral presentations will be presented on Saturday 31 of August, 2024. If not accepted as an oral abstract, you may be asked to present your abstract as an e-poster which will be viewed during the poster walks
  • Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
  • The same person may serve as presenting author on up to 3 abstracts.
  • Presenting authors must be registered participants.
  • Corresponding authors will be notified regarding the status of their abstracts and presentation type by June 30th, 2024.
  • Instructions for preparation of presentations will be made available on the Congress website.

Before you begin, please prepare the following information:

  • Presenting author’s contact details:
    • Full first and family name(s)
    • Email address
    • Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city state (if relevant), country
    • Phone number
  • Author and co-authors’ details. Please include full first and family name for all co-authors.
  • Abstract title – must be in Sentence case and limited to 25 words.
  • Abstract text – limited to 350 words including acknowledgements. Please do not include author names and affiliations in the uploaded document.
  • Abstract topic – Make sure to select the abstract topic.
  • Abstracts should clearly state:
    • Background
    • Aims
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusion
  • Use only standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears.
  • Use generic names of drugs. The presentation must be balanced and contain no commercial promotional content.
  • Submissions may not contain patient names, hospital ID numbers or other identifying information.
  • The submission form allows you to store your abstract as a DRAFT. After the deadline if not submitted, drafts will be deleted.
  • Click on the SUBMIT button at the end of the process in order to save your abstract. After submission, changes will be possible only via email.
  • Please contact us if you have not received confirmation that your abstract has been submitted.
  • Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.
